Angola: Health Department Records Decrease in HIV/Aids Deaths

Lubango — At least ninety five people died of HIV/AIDS in 2012 in southern Huila province, against the 132 cases registered in 2011, Angop has learnt.

The provincial supervisor for Combat Endemic, Gabriel Nionissa associated the decrease of the deaths to the fact the residents to be aware of their HIV status.

According to him, this make them seek treatment in the initial phase and even redouble prevention.
