Angola: MPs Visit Victims of December 31 Vigil Tragedy

Luanda — Members of Parliament with MPLA parliamentary group on Thursday visited the victims of the incident of the vigil with the Universal Church on December 31, that caused 13 deaths and left over 100 injured, Angop has learnt.

The MPs were at Américo Boavida Hospital and Girassol clinic, where they were briefed on the health state of the patients.

The team's spokesman, Genoveva Lino, said that they were informed that most of the victims were already discharged.

She regretted that among the victims are children at the intensive care ward.
