Angola: Athletics Official Regrets Death of Participant At Year-End Race

Luanda — The vice chairman of Angola Athletics Federation (FAA), Adriano Nunes, regreted on Thursday the death of a citizen during the end of year race (Sao Silvestre), Angop has learnt.

Speaking at the end of the international meeting, the director of the competition, said that the managing board of the federation was informed on the death of a participant of the race, caused by an ill condition, after running some kilometers out of the 10,000 of the competition.

He also said that a team is already working to find out the real causes of the death.
