Mobile operators say it was impossible to switch off customers who are yet to register their lines in the absence of a law as that would attract legal suits from customers.Operators we spoke to also cited logistical problems for instance requiring subscribers to physically register their lines. The operators will meet the ministry of information tomorrow where they will raise these and other issues on the process.
