Kenya: Price of Text Books to Go Up By 10 Percent

Education stake holders have asked the government to consider increasing capitation fee for each student in the country (file photo).

As schools open from Monday, parents will have to dig deeper into their pockets as the price of text books is set to go up. Publishers Association Chairman Lawrence Njagi says prices will increase by at most 10 percent but will only apply to a few publishers.
