A new presidential decree has approved allotting 3622 acres from the state-owned plots in Kom Ombo for Egypt's New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) to establish a power plant that operates using the photovoltaic cells energy, minister of electricity and energy Mahmoud Balbaa has said.
Founding this plant is part of a five-year plan for Kom Ombo, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported the minister as saying.
