Uganda/Kenya: Emuge Joins Kenya's Gor Mahia

KIIRA Young Football Club defender Israel Emuge has joined Kenyan side Gor Mahia on a two-year contract.

The club confirmed the move on its website gormahia.net, adding that the player is expected to help the side win the Kenya Premier League (KPL) trophy next season.

"The Kira defender has a two-year deal. The club is currently bolstering their squad in a bid to land the elusive league title," Gor Mahia said on their website.

However, Kiira officials insisted yesterday that they had not agreed terms with Gor Mahia.

Gor Mahia finished in second position in the KPL last season.

They were beaten to the crown by Tusker FC.
