Kenya: Saba Saba Asili Blasts Nyanja Over Claims
By Njenga Gicheha, 4 January 2013
Saba saba Asili party has dismissed former Limuru MP George Nyanja for claims that he has joined the party as their governor aspirant.
Speaking at a Ruiru Hotel yesterday, Kiambu County Party Chairman David Mbugua, Secretary John Waweru and Women leader Margret Muriuki said that Nyanja has not joined the party and that they only have one governor aspirant Bedan Mbugua.
Mbugua said that they cannot welcome Nyanja unless he is subjected to a 'serious' vetting procedure due to his past allegation of violence.
