Kenya: Another Person Charged With Impersonating an Officer

A suspect who allegedly impersonated a police officer to secure his release was yesterday charged before a Thika court.

David Njoroge denied pretending to be a police officer on December 21 at Ngoingwa Estate in Thika after being arrested. Thika principal magistrate Martha Mutuku ordered for his remand as he was unable to raise the 50,000 shillings bail. The case will be heard on February 6th.
