IEBC has embarked on an extensive civic education programme in Kwale. The region experienced a low turnout during the voter registartion which was blamed on threats by the Mombasa Republican Council whose turf is Kwale.
Speaking in Kwale yesterday, IEBC South Coast regional coordinator Amina Soud said residents avoided polling centres until the last day of registration.
