Nigeria: Live Up to Your Responsibilities, Jang Charges Security Agencies

Plateau State Governor Jonah David Jang has charged security operatives in the state and country to wake up to their responsibilities of protecting and safe guarding citizens.

Jang, who stated this Friday while launching the Special Task Force (STF) Emergency Telephone Numbers and distribution of Hand bills of emergency numbers of security agencies to the public, also decried the federal government's position on who has the right to set up a judicial commission of inquiry, stating that the state had submitted recommendations on past crisis in the state to the federal government but were never implemented.

He called on the people of the state to tolerate one another and learn to live together in peace.
