Angola: Episcopal Commission On Youth Gets New Chairperson

Caxito — The Luanda Catholic church assistant bishop Don Zeferino Zeca Martins was elected Friday chairperson of the Angola's Episcopal Commission on Youth, replacing fellow-priest Don Almeida Kanda.

The election happened during the 18th National Youth Pastoral Assembly running from Thursday in Caxito, northern Bengo province.

Don Zeferino Zeca Martins will lead the Commission for six years.The Assembly brings together 166 delegates from the country's 18 provinces and São Tomé and Principe.

The event which is going under the motto "Family and Culture" was opened by the outgoing chairman, Don Almeida Kanda.
