Eritrean Community Members in Australia and New Zealand Finalize Preparations for Annual Festival

Asmara — Eritrean community members in Australia and New Zealand said that they have finalized preparations for the 13th annual festival due to be conducted from 10 to 13 this month.

Mr. Yasin Omar, chairman of the coordinating committee, indicated that a number of nationals from Australian cities and New Zealand, as well as comrades would take part in the event. He further pointed out that the festival would more focus on youths and children, and that cultural shows, entertainment programs and sports contests have been organized.

Moreover, Mr. Beshir Idrisnor, Eritrean Consul General in Australia, disclosed that a seminar as regards the objective situation in the Homeland would be conducted in line with the event.
