A suspect who allegedly impersonated a police officer to secure his release was yesterday charged before a Thika court . David Njoroge denied pretending to be a police officer on December 21 at Ngoingwa Estate in Thika after being arrested by Joan Mwangi and Daniel Sime.
Thika principal magistrate Martha Mutuku ordered for his remand as he was unable to raise the Sh50,000 bond with a surety of similar amount imposed on him. The case will be heard on February 6.
