Rwanda: Uncle Austin?s Stab At Acting

After a somewhat successful career as a local radio presenter, Uncle Austin has decided it is now time for him to try his luck on the big screen. We here at The Sunday Times have learnt that Austin is set to feature in an upcoming film titled Imbarutso.

"Joining the movie industry is a dream-come-true for mer. I am sure I will make it," he said.

In Imbarutso, Austin will feature alongside Marie France Niragire, the acclaimed actress from Inzosi, one of the best films to come out of Hillywood in 2012.

The shooting of Imbarutso began in March last year and the film is expected out this month. "The movie is a love story about a man who dates four women at the same time," says Austin.

Austin, whose real name is Austin Tosh Luwano, holds a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication from UMKC School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He has worked with several radio stations in Uganda and Rwanda.
