Angola: UNAC Promotes New Seeking Talent Contest

Huambo — The secretariat of the National Artists and Composers Union (UNAC) in the central Huambo province and AP Promoções will promote on 8 January a music, dance, poetry and theatre contest dubbed "Free talent 2013", aiming to seek new talented artist.

Speaking to Angop this Sunday, the official of AP promoções, Atanagildo Paulo revealed that the initiative is part of the National Culture Day celebrations, to be marked on 8 January, aimed to boost reading, dance, theatre, poetry and music, taking into account its promotion and divulgence.

The promoter Atanagildo Paulo stressed that the event will be entertained by musicians Justino Handanga, Bessa Teixeira, Edna Mateia, Man Jacy, Lili de Vasconcelos, Nino Dias, Xe M and poet Chico pobre.
