Kenya: Brew Drives Two to Hospital

TWO men who went on a New Year drinking spree are fighting for survival at various hospitals in Migori after taking an illicit brew.

Jared Mirusa, 35, and Wyckliffe Omollo, 36 ,were taken to hospital unconscious after the drinking spree at a local pub in Ayego trading centre, in Migori County, turned tragic.

Residents said after taking the drinks, the two started experiencing headaches, blurred vision, constant vomiting and diarrhoea before losing consciousness. They were taken to Panyako and St. Joseph Ombo hospitals.
