Kaduna — The outgoing chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kaduna, Reverend Samuel Kujiyat, has urged the newly elected executives to maintain a deeper relationship with the Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI).
Speaking during the inauguration of new executives in Kaduna, he said, "our relationship with the JNI has continued to improve with the understanding that we are partners in the pursuit of peace, unity and peaceful co-existence".
The new exco has Most Reverend George Jonathan Dodo as chairman; Arch Bishop Josiah Idowu Fearon, Vice Chairman; Reverend Sunday Ibrahim, Secretary; Barrister Raphael Olatunde Adejumobi, Assistant Secretary while Reverend Christopher Annger is the Treasurer.
Dodo, who is also the Bishop of Catholic Diocese, Zaria, expressed the commitment of the executives to strengthen ties with Muslims for peaceful co-existence.
