Egypt: Finance Ministry Offers EGP 47.5 Million to HCWW

Finance Minister Momtaz el-Saeed has agreed to allocate 25 million pounds for the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW) to complete sewage projects in Suez Canal cities.

In statements on Friday 04/01/2013, el-Saeed said this is only part of the funding which was approved during a meeting with Minister of Utilities Abdel-Kawi Khalifa and Electricity and Energy Minister Mahmoud Balbaa.

Saeed noted that he also agreed to increase to 22.5 million allotments to local units in the Suez Canal cities.
