Interior Minister Ahmed Gamal el-Dien has sent a greeting cable to Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese on Coptic Orthodox Christmas.
The Minister extended his most sincere wishes to the pope and fellow Christian citizens.
Gamal el-Dien also greeted all officers and civilians working at the Ministry. Christmas Day marks the birth of Jesus for Orthodox Christians on January 7.
