Egypt: Tourism Ministry's Target Figure Is U.S. $ 9 Billion

The Tourism Ministry is aiming to achieve USD 9 billion yearly of tourism revenues, said Minister Hisham Zazou.

In order to attain this figure, all obstacles facing political and security stability must be removed, Zazou said on the sidelines of a meeting of the National Initiative to Jump-Start Economy on Thursday night.

The number of tourists in Egypt in the period between January and November 2012 reached 1.5 million, Minister Zazou said.
