A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) arrived Sunday in Cairo to resume final talks with the Egyptian government on a loan worth $4.8 bn.

The delegation is led by Masood Ahmed, the Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department, and Andreas Bauer, Division Chief in the Middle East and Central Asia.

Last month, the Egyptian government asked the IMF to postpone the talks for one month.
