Angola: Priest Calls On Families to Promote Unity

Luanda — Priest Apolinário Nunda, from the Coração de Maria Parish, in Luanda, last Sunday called on families to be more committed to the promotion of greater unity in this new year of faith.

"Without a family everything crumbles, so we need to make efforts to consolidate the unity, aimed at promoting a healthy relationship among brothers", said the priest in his Sunday service sermon.

Apolinário Nunda informed also that for this year, the Angola/São Tomé Episcopal Conference (CEAST) chose as theme "Family and Culture", aimed at having deep discussions about the fundamentals of family.

"Now that the year started, we need to be calm, patient, besides praying a lot for family stability, because this is the cell of humanity", stressed the prelate.

"Agora que começou o ano, precisamos de muita calma, paciência, para além de orar muito para a estabilidade das famílias, porque ela é a célula da humanidade", disse.
