Gambia: Banjul Beat NBR in NAYCONF Football

Banjul have beaten North Bank Region 1-0 in the football competition of the ongoing NAYCONF. The match played at the Bansang Senior Secondary School football field was attended by hundreds of fans. Striker Pa Modou Camara scored the only goal of the match in the 54th minute.

Speaking to Observer Sports, the head coach of NBR, Abdoulie Bah, who spoke to this reporter, commended his boys for the brilliant performance, adding that they played well but were unlucky.

Pa Dudou Jagne, Banjul coach, rejoiced over the win and thanked his players for a wonderful performance.
