Angola: Golpel Singer Releases Cd in Viana

Luanda — Golpel singer Mama Antonica released on Sunday, at Viana Municipality Youth House, in Luanda, her album entitled "O Senhor Chama por Ti", ANGOP has learnt.

The nine-track compact disc has songs in Lingala and Portuguese languages and comprises the works Kangama na Yesu, Casamento Kokota Kobina na Yesu, O Senhor chama por ti,Na kobanga eloko te, Molimo Santo, Nzambe na Ngai, Salvador poderoso, Ndeko na ngai na lingi koyebisa among others.

The singer said she started singing at the age of 18 and only at 58 she could record a disc.

Commenting on the work, she said that all of the songs have a Christian message.

Antonica Antonio was backed by her two daughters and a congregational brother.
