Angola: Artists Distinguished for Contribution to Cultural Development in 2012

Lubango — The artists and musical groups that exhaled in 2012 contributing to the development of the sector were distinguished last Sunday in Lubango City, at a gala to salute January 8, National Culture Day.

The gala counted on the presence of Huíla vice governor for political and social matters, José Arão Nataniel.

During the event organised under the initiative of the local culture department, diplomas of merit were handed over to the artists Jingongo Ubeka, Yuri and the musical group Estrela da Chela and Huíla Province Choir, among others.
