Angola: Former Midfielder Considers National Squad's Group Reasonable

Huambo — The former midfielder of the Sable Antelopes, Rosário de Lemos, said Angola's group (A) in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2013) of South Africa is reasonable, stressing that the four teams have the same potential to move to the next stage, despite the host team's advantage of playing at home.

Speaking last Friday to ANGOP, in Huambo City, Rosário de Lemos, who is currently the chairman of Huambo province's Football Association, recognised that Morocco has a greater experience in competitions of this kind.

He said the Angolan squad must focus on reaching the quarter-finals, despite the potential of the other teams.

"It is a reasonable group, each team will try to make things difficult for the others, but I am sure that Angola will go to the next stage. Humbleness, commitment and the strict observance of game tactics might be crucial to beat the adversaries", he explained
