Nigeria: Former NPL Boss, Obaseki, Loses Wife

The former chairman of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) Board, Chief Osayuki Obaseki has lost his first wife to diabetics in Benin City.

A release from the house of Chief Obaseki, said his wife was billed to travel to United State of America for her medical check up before she had a crisis.

Chief Obaseki broke down in tears uncontrollably when former Super Eagles Coach, Austin Eguaevoen and some other coaches showed up at the palace of the high chief to pay their condolences over the passing away of his first wife.

Describing his wife as a 'mother, sister, companion, and a wife', the Ohe of Benin Kingdom lamented how he will be able to manage the situation now that she is gone.
