Luanda — The secretary of State for Higher Education for Innovation, Maria Augusta Martins, Monday in Luanda said that the sector has responsibilities with the National Training of Staff to be subdivided into four specific areas in 2013-2014.

Maria Augusta Martins was speaking to Angop on the sidelines of the ceremony of presentation of the programme.

The official explained that the four sectors include the national system of technology and innovation science, training of higher and high education staff, researchers for entrepreneurship, training of trainers, the need for teachers linked to the education field, as well as science, technology and innovation.

She said that the plan should be implemented by more than four ministries she would not name.

The official stressed that it was up to the Ministry of Higher Education to implement specific tasks, calling for the need of skilled personnel for the country's development.

The presentation ceremony was attended by representatives of public and private institutions of higher education and other guests.
