Angola: Nation to Name African Cup of Nations' Players

Luanda — The Angolan national soccer team coach, the Uruguayan Gustavo Ferrin will release Tuesday in Johannesburg, South Africa, the 23 players who will represent the country at the African Cup of the Nation (CAN2013) from 19 January to 10 February, in South Africa.

Angola beat on Saturday Zambia 2-0 in friendly match, as part of their training session that started on December 26 and aimed at improving competitive aspects.

The team started the preparation in Lubango, southern Huila province in November, having played out four matches.

Angola draw with Gambia (1-1) and successively defeated Cameroon (1-0), Rwanda (1-0) and Zambia (2 - 0).

Angola is in group A along with the host South Africa, Morocco and Cape Verde.
