Angola: Technical Teams for Census Support Created

Luanda — The central office of census on Monday here informed that they are being created at provincial, municipal and communal levels technical groups meant to support and follow the date collecting operations, Angop has learnt.

A press note from the mentioned office says that the creation of the technical groups is part of the general census of population and housing (RGPH-2014), being that information accompanying will be done through provincial services with the statistics national institute (SPINE).

Technical groups are already created in the provinces of Kwanza-Norte, Huila, Huambo, Cunene, Bié and Cabinda.

The members are indicated by the provincial governments and integrated representatives of the sectors of health, education, agriculture, media, transports, armed forces and police, adds the source.
