Angola: Police Return Over 600 Cattle to Owners

Ondjiva — At least 644 heads of cattle, robbed in the municipalities of Southern Cunene province, throughout 2012, was given back to their owners, by the local Police, Angop has learnt.

The spokesman of the corporation, Intendant Piedade Pombal, said among the animals are 391 bovines, 233 caprines, 13 suines and seven equines.

The action was only possible due to various operations held by the Brigade of fight against robbery of cattle with the National Police.
