South Africa: President Jacob Zuma Arrives in Ghana to Attend the Presidential Inauguration of the President of Ghana

President Jacob Zuma has this morning, 7 January, arrived in Accra, Ghana, to attend the inauguration of Mr John Dramani Mahama as the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Mr Mahama's National Democratic Congress won the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in December 2012 with 50, 7% of the vote.

President Zuma is accompanied by the Minister of International Relations and Co-operation, Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane. He is scheduled to return to South Africa tomorrow, 8 January.
