Angola: Gospel Singer Releases CD in Viana

Luanda — Gospel singer Mama Antonica released on Sunday in Luanda's Viana Municipality Youth House her work entitled "O Senhor Chama por Ti", Angop has learnt.

The nine-track compact disc is sung in Lingala and Portuguese languages and comprises the works Kangama na Yesu, Casamento Kokota Kobina na Yesu, O Senhor chama por ti, Na kobanga eloko te, Molimo Santo, Nzambe na Ngai, Salvador poderoso, Ndeko na ngai na lingi koyebisa among others.

The singer said she started singing at the age of 18 and only at 58 she could record a disc. Commenting on the work, she said that all of them tell of Christian message. Antonica Antonio is backed by her two daughters and a congregational brother.
