Kenya: Two Day Alcohol Ban to Cost Industry Sh1.5 Billion

The tourism sector is likely to lose over 1.5 billion shillings during the two day ban on sale of alcohol prior to the election date as proposed in the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act . Industry players have accused Naivasha MP John Mututho of rushing the amendment through parliament without consulting them.
