Kenya: Senior Police Officers Sent On Compulsory Leave

Five Provincial police boss who served in the Rift Valley have been sent on compulsory leave following the exposure of an imposter, Joshua Waiganjo, who was serving as a senior policeman. The senior officers including the current PPO John M'Mbijiwe, whose association with Waiganjo has been widely mentioned, have paved way for investigation into the saga.

An independent team set up to probe Joshua Waiganjo's impersonation as a senior police officer is currently investigating the case and its set to submit findings on how Waiganjo managed to operate for 5 years as a fake Deputy PPO.
