Nigeria: House to Stop Resumption of Dana Flights

The House of Representatives committee on Aviation has said that it will open fresh investigation into the reason behind the recent resumption of flight by Dana airline in Nigeria.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja yesterday committee chair Rep. Nkeiruka C. Onyejeocha said it was unfortunate that the Nigerian aviation authorities restored Dana operating licenses despite the fact that issues surrounding the June 3rd crash of its airliner MD 83 in Lagos which killed 156 people have not been resolved.
