Angola: Vice Governor Eyes Better Power and Water Supply

Ndalatando — The vice governor of the northern Kwanza-Norte province for technical and infrastructural matters, Erlindo Ernesto Lidador, pointed out on Tuesday in Ndalatando city the rehabilitation and extension of the power and water supply system as some of the challenges of the local government for 2013.

Speaking to Angop, the governor pointed out as priorities the systems of water abstration, treatment and supply, as well as the power supply system to the localities of Ndalatando, Dondo, Lucala and Golungo-Alto.

Erlindo Lidador explained that the materialization of these projects will increase and improve the quality of power supply to the population and boost the activity of economic undertaking of the region.

The official also highlighted the betterment in the water supply in urban areas and increase of water supply coverage in rural zones.
