Angola: Chimbassi Industrial Park Contemplates Production of Cereals

Cubal — The Chimbassi industrial park in Cubal district, central Benguela province, contemplates the production of maize in great scale, having into account the Municipal Programme to Fight against Hunger and Poverty.

This was said to Angop on Monday by the municipal administrator, António Saraiva.

According to him, the project occupies an area of 50 000 hectares and it aims to produce cereals.

He said that it was funded projects, through Programmes "Angola Invests" and "Agricultural Campaign Credit", so as to stimulate and re-launch the sector.
