Kenya: MPs Told-Off Over Send-Off

MALINDI A Human Rights Agenda official has said it is illegal for MPs to award themselves their send off package. Huria's programme officer Eric Karisa Mgoja said it is the work of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission to do so.

"They (MPs) are infringing on the constitution's guidelines concerning salaries and benefits," he added.
