Kenya: We Won't Be Hooligans, Rongo Youth Promise

Youth in Rongo constituency have vowed to keep peace during the campaign period in the lead up to March 4 general election.They said they will not allow themselves to be misused by politicians.
Led by Rongo district youth group chairman Geoffrey Ogindo, they said they were not part of the acts of hooliganism experienced in the campaigns.
The leader was speaking during a forum held at Nyarach Youth Empowerment Centre in Rongo town where they condemned politicians who are out to hire youths to disrupt their rivals' rallies.
