Nigeria: FRSC Issues Warning On Lokoja - Abuja Road As Crash Claims Six

THE Lokoja Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission has issued a red alert to drivers plying the Lokoja to Abuja road to exercise extra caution while on the as passengers return from the festivities.

The FRSC, issued the warning against the background of constant road mishaps along the route in the last couple of days.

According to the Sector Commander, Alhaji Mohammed Garba, six persons were Tuesday killed while four others sustained high degrees of injury in auto crash along Lokoja Abuja expressway.

Garba said the accident occured at Karara village around 11 am , adding that the accident happened when Toyota Corola with registration number FKJ634XB and Toyota Hiace GE 204 EKV rammed into each other.

He attributed the cause of the accident to reckless driving .
