Luanda — The VIII International Congress of Physicians in Angola will take place from 25 to 26 January, in Talatona Convention Centre in Luanda, under the theme "Health in Angola, present and future."

Under the aegis of the Physician Order of Angola, the meeting will start on 23 and 24 January with the holding of Pre-congress courses in five different locations.

According to the president of the Physician Order, this meeting will be a time of reflection where doctors and other health professionals will share some of the big issues facing the worldwide.

"We are faced with increasing challenges that greatly influence the harmonious development and are in the interests of all, including the lifestyle, environmental risks, emerging communicable and chronic diseases and maternal and child health, among others," he stressed.
