Nigeria: Lobi, Rangers to Open Super Four

Beaten cup finalists, Lobi Stars and league runners-up Enugu Rangers will open the pre-season Super 4 Wednesday in Kano.

Nigeria Premier League Executive Secretary, Tunji Babalola, confirmed Tuesday that the opening game of competition involving Lobi and Rangers will begin from 1 pm local time, while the second match of the day will be by 3pm between hosts Kano Pillars and Heartland.

Pillars will hope to avenge a 2-0 Super Cup loss they suffered at the hands of Heartland in Port Harcourt recently.

The second day of action will see Rangers up against regional rivals Heartland and Kano Pillars play Lobi Stars, while for the final day of action on Sunday, Heartland will clash with Lobi and Rangers battle Pillars.

The team will the highest number of points from this four-team round-robin tournament will emerge winners.
