Angola: Fair On Cultural Products Opened in Huambo

Huambo — A fair where various national cultural products are on display, with stress on artists from Huambo Province, was opened Tuesday in this city, as part of the National Culture Day (Jan. 08) celebrations.

According to the head of the department of arts and cultural action of the provincial culture board, Victorina Navimbi, the fair aims at valuing and promoting the work of cultural agents of this region.

Satisfied with the massive and voluntary participation of makers of culture in Huambo, the official urged citizens to visit the exhibition to have notion of the artistic and cultural quality on display at the event.

At the fair are exposed books, albums, works of crafts and paintings by artists of the province.
