Angola: Artist Toy Boy Presents Photo Exhibition On Urban Centres

Huambo — The Angolan artist Adalberto Ferreira, also known artistically by Toy Boy, presented Tuesday in this city his photo exhibition entitled "Urbanism", portraying the urban movement in Angola, with stress on human presence.

According to the author, the ten photos printed on canvas reflect the socio-cultural reality of various cities of the country, including rural, urban and sub-urban areas, representing the people, habits and customs.

Toy Boy stressed that his photographs, which have been on display in Luanda for over a month, mainly illustrate the lives of people living in substandard housing located in neighbourhoods without electricity, water and sanitation, the dilemmas of women in Angolan society as well as children and their dreams.
