Residents (file photo) :One person was killed and 20 homes torched in revenge attacks in Mathare slum, Nairobi.

One more person has died following the Mathare slums clashes raising the death toll to two. Five others sustained critical stab wounds. Anti-riot police are currently in the area to maintain order. The clashes occured after a man was yesterday killed and 20 houses torched in suspected retaliatory attacks.
