Kenya: Renewed Clashes in Marigat

Armed herder (file photo): One person has been killed and over 3,000 displaced by bandits in Marigat, Baringo county.

One person has been shot dead while another one was wounded in renewed clashes between two communities in Marigat Baringo County.

Tension is high in villages within Arabal location which was attacked by heavily armed bandits. More than two thousand people have fled their homes due to fear. Human rights activist Harun Ole Mpaka who is in the area has asked the government to beef up security.
