Eritrea: Families of Martyrs Rehabilitated in Livestock

Assab — The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare's branch in the Southern Red Sea region has rehabilitated families of martyrs in Araeta sub-zone in livestock. Accordingly, a number of families from the Administrative areas of Ti'o, Adailo, Ferer, Egroli and Aleti have become beneficiaries of 20 goats each.

Mr. Ismail Osman, head of social welfare at the branch office, called on the beneficiaries to work hard to improve their livelihood on the basis of the support extended to them.

Among the beneficiaries, Ms. Libaba Abdi and Hawa Ali, who are patronizing martyrs' children in collaboration with the Ministry, lauded the Government's commitment of honoring the trust of fallen heroes. In the same vein, Ms. Seida Abdalla Jelil expressed conviction that martyrdom is the highest cause for societal awe, and pointed out that she could own a warm home and her children could pursue their education thanks to the support being extended to them by the Ministry.
