Kenya: Residents Asked to Get Tested for HIV

RESIDENTS OF Narok North have been urged to know their HIV status.

Constituency AIDS Control Council co-ordinator Kenneth Passiany said residents will win the war against HIV/Aids if they get tested.

Speaking to the Star yesterday, Passiany said by knowing their status, married couples can discuss how best to protect themselves.

"Knowing your HIV status is important because you will be provided with quality counselling that will help you cope with either positive or negative status revealed by the results," he said.
